Meet Laurence

Founder & Lead Language Coach

Language has always been more than words for Laurence. Growing up in Nantes, France, she fell in love with the way a new language could open an entirely different world: a different way of thinking, connecting, and belonging. That curiosity led her to study English and Spanish at the University of Nantes, and eventually to earn a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Institut Supérieur Ozanam, passing one of France's most competitive teaching exams with an 8% acceptance rate.

She spent over nine years teaching French in England before making the move to Tampa, where she has spent more than half a decade in classrooms. From kindergarten to first grade at Educated Minds Academy, to French and Spanish immersion with students as young as three at Community Montessori School, to coaching both teenagers and adults looking to elevate their linguistic abilities.

That breadth is intentional. Laurence has built her career around a simple belief: anyone can learn a language, at any age, at any level, as long as the teaching meets them where they are.

At Elite Language Coaching, she brings three decades of classroom experience, three languages, and one deeply personal approach. Every lesson is designed around your life, your goals, and the conversations that matter to you.
